More About Our Most Popular Services

Sampling

It is important to take many samples of the target environment to ensure the quality of your project’s location is up to standard. These samples allow us to make certain that your project is successful from start to finish. We provide both soil-gas sampling and geotechnical sampling services.

Soil-Gas Sampling

Different from sampling the soil environment directly, soil-gas sampling measures the gas contained in the spaces between each particle of soil.

The process of soil-gas sampling used to be tedious, but thanks to our GeoProbe system, we are able to complete sampling quickly, effectively, and safely.

We utilize post-run tubing, vapor implants, PRT adapters, and O-rings to ensure that the system is fully secure during the entire process, even at the threaded joints.

Geotechnical Sampling

Perhaps one of the most integral parts of any project, this is a sampling process we take very seriously. The samples we collect from this process ensure site and construction safety, rig stability, oil quality, and more.

We utilize a GeoProbe Split Spoon with an automatic-drop hammer, which is a tool that allows us to collect accurate Standard Penetration Test (SPT) blow count.

This process also allows us to conduct Packer testings, which are conducted in order to measure the permeability of the ground within sections of boreholes. Thanks to this process we can identify water-producing zones so that preparation and action can be taken to resolve any potential issues relating to groundwater.

Direct Push Drilling

Since we are a GeoProbe contractor, we are equipped with the most advanced machinery and technology in the business. GeoProbe pioneered direct-push subsurface sampling technology in 1987.

Direct-push drilling is used to collect samples for environmental investigations. The machinery “pushes” the tools and sensors into the ground, without requiring any drilling to remove soil to make a path for the tool.

Direct-push drilling allows us to probe through sand, gravel, hard pans, high-friction clay, tills, fill materials, and surface frost.

A couple of the advantages of this technology include:
– Potential production of 100–200 feet of samples per day, on average, done quickly and cost effectively
– The installation of small-diameter wells

We are very excited to serve you and your business through a strong partnership.
